Ben Wa Balls

Ben Wa balls, also referred to Bermese balls, trace their roots back to china.  They are small  balls, usually no larger than a marble, that are inserted in the vagina or anus.  Traditional Ben Wa balls were made from hollow metal, containing a small weight that rolls around for increased stimulation.  The glass variety we sell are generally going to be solid balls made with borosilicate glass (commonly referred to as Pyrex glass).

Traditionally Ben Wa balls were single balls placed in the vagina to increase sexual stimulation.  Over the years, they evolved into several beads on a string, and also lead to the advent of anal beads.  Today, Ben Wa balls are mostly used by women to tighten the vagina's pelvic floor muscles through Kegel exercises.  These balls are in fact, often times prescribed by medical professionals as a treatment for rejuvenating vaginal elasticity, and increasing bladder control.  Many women find that after child birth, Ben Wa balls are excellent tools in helping to quickly re-tighten the vagina.

Out of the popularity of  BenWa Balls has now come a new type of kegel exercising glass toys that looks much like a dildo, but is actually designed for strengthening of the kegel muscles.  One such kegel exerciser is the Ruby Glass Pure Kegel, which comes in two graduated sizes designed to help the user gradually strengthen the muscles by makig the toy small as the user progresses through their strengthening program.
