Cleaning
A glass toy is one of the safest sex toys you can get, but it still needs to be regularly cleaned just like any other sex toy.   They are also one of the only sex toys that you can safely share with others.  In order to prevent the buildup of bacteria and viruses, you should clean your toys after each and every use.  You can clean it with warm water and an anti bacterial soap.  Alternately, you can also clean your toy with rubbing alcohol.  As you most likely already know, glass toys are also dishwasher safe.    We also carry a line of antibacterial sex toy cleaners to make cleanup even easier.


Glass Toy Storage
Most of our high end glass dildos will come standard with a plush storage pouch to keep the toy in.  For those that do not, we also carry a collection of pouches that can be ordered.   Your toys should always be kept at room temperature in a dry environment.  Never keep them where they could potentially come in contact with animals, bacteria, or food.  Ensure that glass toys are separated so that they do not come in contact with each other, and potentially causes scratches and dings.  While very strong, the glass can still be broken.  If you ever drop your glass toy, make sure to do a proper inspection for marring, scratches, and fractures in the glass.

Heating your Glass Toys
As I am sure you have discovered, being able to heat glass sex toys is one of the features that sets them apart from regular sex toys.  However, heating them incorrectly can lead to burns and overall un-pleasent experience.  To properly heat glass toys, they should be placed in a bowl of warm water for about half an hour.  The water should not be so hot that it burns.  Remember, if the water is too hot for your hands, then it will be too hot for your most intimate of areas.  NEVER place glass sex toys in the microwave, boiling water, or the oven.  This is extremely dangerous, and will only send you to the hospital with embarrassing burns.


Cooling your Glass Toys
Over cooling your glass toys can be just as dangerous as overheating them.   NEVER freeze glass toys, this will cause frostbite, and the toy will most likely stick to your insides.  Glass dildos, and butt plugs should be cooled by placing them in a bowl of ice water or in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.  For a truly unique sensation, keep two toys handy, and cool one while heating the other.

Lubricating your Glass Toys
As they are made of glass, glass toys are not porous like a standard sex toy.   This means that they will not continuously be absorbing lube like a standard sex toy will.   While you can use any lubricant you want, we generally recommend going with a water based lubricant, as it helps to preserve the hypo-allergenic nature of pyrex sex toys.   Water based lubes also have the added benefit of being easier to clean up.

Using your glass Toys
I think you know what to do with the toys, but there is one rule we would like to point out or butt plugs.  Lube Lube and more lube.  Now go have fun.
